Lakers

Lakers got past the first round of the playoffs against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder gave us a little bit of a scare. The young players of Russel Westbrook and Kevin Durant, showed the Thunders future is bright. Lakers need to sharpen up there outside game if they want to keep going on. Kobe and Pau are playing well, we need to get everyone else playing well as well.

Snowboarding

I went snowboarding the other weekend in Mammoth CA. It was a great time. I went with my friends family. I tried doing the half pipe but fell every time. Snowboarding is a lot of fun and recommend everyone to give it a try.

NFL Draft

The draft was a huge disappointment. Every USC player didn't get drafted in the spot scouts were telling them. Jimmy Clausen was the biggest drop. He didn't get drafted till mid second round. Taylor Mays was second round. Everson Griffen didn't get drafted till the 4th round. You could see in all of there faces they were very disappointed.

Softball

Now that basketball is over, I decided to join a men's league softball league. I play center field and bat first. I haven't played softball/baseball since sophomore year of high school. I am on a team with all of my friends. We are 2-0 and I have gotten a hit each game.

College Football

The NFL draft is right around the corner and It looks like Jimmy Clausen is a top 10 pick. I used to play against Jimmy when he went to Oaks Christian and I went to Oak Park. We were rivals. It is crazy to see him projected to go top 10. His did really well at Notre Dame so he does deserve it.

Lakers

The lakers have lost 5 games in a row and are not looking good. Andrew Bynum is hurt once again, which means Pau Gasol needs to step up and pick up the slack. The whole team is banged up. Shannon Brown is emerging as a really good player for us. Lamar Odom is playing fairly well too.

Hermosa Beach

It was such a nice day out today. I went down to Hermosa Beach and played volleyball. My friend and I played doubles. We played 6 games. I was exausted after. It was a great day. Afterwards I jumped in the freezing cold water.

Today I had another men's league basketball game. This was for the championship. We ended up winning by 8 points. I scored 18. It was fun, and after my team went to a restaurant to celebrate the championship victory.

Beach Soccer

Today my roommate and I went down to the beach to kick the ball around. He played soccer in college at Cal Lutheran University. I was the goalie while he shot on me. We made it into a competition and it got to be a lot of fun. Then we challenged two other guys on the beach to 2 on 2. We ended up winning.

Lakers

My favorite NBA team is the Los Angeles Lakers. This year they are off to a great start and are in first place in the western conference. Kobe Bryant is looking to have a MVP season. The new pick up of Ron Artest is to early to tell if it is good or bad. We laker fans do miss Trevor Ariza. I can't wait for the playoffs.

Rainy day

Today It was raining so I couldn't go surfing. I wish I could because I just bought a brand new surfboard from my friend. it is a 6'5 al merrick surf board. He gave it to me for a really good price. I cant wait to use it this weekend.

Men's league

Today I had a flag football game at Balboa Park. My team lost in the championship game. Even though we lost, I still had a great time. Then that night I had a basketball game. I play in this league in Montebello. My team isn't very good, but it is still fun. It was a great sunday.

Today I woke up early to get in a good surf session. I drove down to county line, which is the line between Los Angeles County, and Ventura Counties. The waves were great. The water was a little bit cold but it was worth it. There were great sets all day.

Today I woke up went to the gym to play basketball. I love these mornings when I can start my day off with a couple good games. Then I went to dinner with my best friend that flew home from washington DC. We ended up going to a restaurant called Wood Ranch in Agoura Hills. One of my favorite places when I was a kid.
